The third inter-institutional ACODE Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Benchmarking Summit was held from 25 – 27 June 2018 at the Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. USP was represented by CFL staff, Javed Yusuf, and Varunesh Rao.
The 3 day event was an intense and engaging affair with each participating institution providing active input into the status of their use of the ACODE Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Benchmarks. The event followed the first summit held at Macquarie University in Sydney in June 2014, and the second sumit helad at the University of Canberra. USP presented on: Benchmark 1 - Institution-wide policy and governance for technology enhanced learning; and Benchmark 2 - Planning for institution-wide quality improvement of technology enhanced learning.
The ACODE benchmarks have been developed to assist institutions in their practice of delivering a quality technology enhanced learning experience for their students and staff (recognising that some institutions refer to their practice with terms such as e-learning, online or flexible learning, blended, etc.). There are eight benchmarks, each of which can be used as a standalone indicator, or used collectively to provide a whole of institution perspective.
